Age in Place at University District

We’re redefining seniors living in Calgary.

Seniors and the aging population are invaluable to a thriving community. We’re creating a symbiotic relationship within University District – where the aging population is at the forefront of our thoughts: we support their desires for contribution, inclusivity, access, and in designing innovative ways to connect them to the community.

U/D is about everyone thriving; and about having the resources, programs and facilities available as residents’ lives evolve and transition. The community is designed to help seniors age in place; so they can stay in their community as their needs evolve over time.

Live at Cambridge Manor

Dedicated to the preservation of dignity and the pursuit of happiness, the Brenda Strafford Foundation is bringing their people-first approach to seniors living with Cambridge Manor; a 240-unit complex set to open in 2020.

With a commitment to people first and high standards of care, Cambridge Manor focuses on enhancing the quality of day-to-day living through services such as dining, recreation and education — the therapeutic care offered to senior residents and neighbours in the community will support wellness and bring comfort and security to residents.

Cambridge Manor aims to be an innovative, quality driven, and integrated senior’s experience — one that’s sure to contribute to the community in more ways than we can guess.

Live at Maple

Adjacent to Cambridge Manor and connected by a +30, Maple by Truman is the newest independent living site for the social and active senior residents of Northwest Calgary.

With suites ranging from 580 to 1080 square feet, Maple by Truman offers both one and two-bedroom floor plans complete with full gourmet kitchens and private outdoor patio space. Perfect for seniors keen to live fully in the comfort of a community rich in services and experiences, residents of the Maple will have access to the amenities offered at Cambridge Manor; from therapeutic care to community and educational programming, and more.
