Dog Park Treasure Map Contest: Rules & Regulations

1. ELIGIBILITY
1.1 Eligibility: Dog Park Treasure Map Contest is open to all residents of Canada except those residing in the province of Quebec, and excluding employees and Board Members of West Campus Development Trust and our sponsors, vendors and partners.
1.2 Need not be present to win, odds of winning depend on total number of entries received. Potential winners will need to answer an easy skill-testing question in order to claim a prize. No purchase necessary. One entry per person and must be over the age of 18.
1.3 Contest Period: On July 14, 2019 contestants may participate in the Contest by attending the dog park event and visiting four(4) stations and receiving a stamp at each station. Contestants need not participate in each activity to receive a stamp but must visit each location.
1.4 Contest Entry: Upon completion of the Treasure map and drop off at designated completion points, Discovery Centre & Main Stage, entry submission eligible participants will be entered into the Contest for one (1) chance to win (i.e. one entry) the Prize.
1.5 Contest Entry Restrictions: Participants are restricted to one (1) entry via completion of the Treasure map per person. Any excess entries will be invalid for purposes of the Contest draw.
1.6 Awarding of Prize: The Prize will be awarded to the participant who was randomly selected and whose contact information (name, email address) has been received once the winner has been contacted and who has complied with these Rules. A form of government issued photo ID is required to claim prize. The winner agrees to release of name and photo for a public announcement via email campaign and social media.
2. PRIZING
2.1 The Contest Period will be as such: participants will be allowed to submit one entry on July 14, 2019. Submissions falling outside of this range will not be accepted or treated as a valid entry.
The prize will consist of:
One fancy fido package with approximate retail value of $300 each. The Prize must be accepted as awarded. No cash alternatives, substitution or transfers of the Prize will be allowed.
2.2 Odds: The odds of being randomly selected to win the Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Odds of winning will decrease as the number of entries received increases.
2.3 Prize Draw: The Prize will be awarded by a random hand draw from all eligible Contest entries received during the applicable Contest Period.
The draw will be held at 12 pm on July 18th at West Campus Development Trust, Suite 110A, 3553 – 31st Street NW, Calgary Alberta T2L 2K7.

2.4 Notification of Selection: All participants will be sent an email notifying the winner, and the winner’s names will be posted in a email notice as well as on University District’s social media channels. By entering the Contest you consent to these provisions. If the selected winner cannot be contacted within 5 business working days, another winner will be randomly selected and the initial selected winner will be disqualified and will have no recourse towards West Campus Development Trust or anyone involved in the Contest.
In order to win, the selected winner must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical, skill-testing question to be administered on-site, and when collecting the prize he/she will be required to sign, confirming compliance with the Contest Rules, acceptance of the Prize as awarded and releasing West Campus Development Trust from all liability relating to the Contest. No substitution for, or transfer of the Prize, will be allowed. The selected winner will have up to 5 (five) business days to pick up the prize and failure to do so within this period of time, another Winner will be randomly selected and the initial selected Winner will be disqualified and will have no recourse towards West Campus Development Trust or anyone involved in the Contest.
3. GENERAL RULES
3.1 By participating, all entrants acknowledge and agree that they have entered the contest of their own free will, that the full rules and details of the contest have been made available to them and they therefore understand and agree that neither West Campus Development Trust nor their sponsors or their respective employees have any liability with respect to the contestants’ participation in the contest or winning a prize and are not liable for any damages out of acceptance and use of a prize. By entering this promotion, participants agree to be bound by these rules.
3.2 West Campus Development Trust shall not be responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription or registration of Contest entry information, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible, or erased computer or network transmissions, line failures of any telephone network, failure of computer equipment, or software issues or any other error or malfunction, or any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from a winner not being notified of being a winner.
3.4 The Contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial and local laws, as well as the rules adopted in view of said laws.
