WARMEST WINTER MEMORIES CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS (THE “RULES”)

1. ELIGIBILITY

1.1 Eligibility: Warmest Winter Memories Contest (the “Contest”) is open to all residents of Canada except those residing in the province of Quebec, and excluding employees and Board Members of West Campus Development Trust and our sponsors, vendors and partners.

1.2 Participants do not need to be present to win. No purchase necessary. All participants must be over the age of 18.

1.3 Contest Period: On November 10th to December 21st, 2018 online contestants may participate in the Contest by following or liking University District on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, posting a photo or video of their best winter memory and tagging University District to be entered to win.

1.4 Contest Entry: Upon completion of the online Contest entry submission eligible participants will gain one entry into the Contest for a chance to win the prize.

1.5 Contest Entry Restrictions: Participants are restricted to one (1) entry upon valid completion of the online submission. Only one (1) entry per person. Any excess entries will be invalid and may prevent the participant from claiming a prize if such participant’s name is drawn as the winner.

1.6 Drawing of Prize: The Prize will be awarded to a participant who is randomly selected. Winner must provide his or her full name and a valid email address. If the participant’s name is drawn, the participant must provide a valid piece of government issued photo identification in order to claim prize. The winner must also agree to the release of his or her name and photo for a public announcement that may be distributed by WCDT in any manner, including without limitation, by email and social media. By entering the Contest you consent to these provisions.

2. PRIZING

2.1 The Contest Period will run from 12 a.m. mountain time on November 10, 2018, and close on 12 a.m. mountain time on December 21, 2018. Submissions falling outside of this range will not be accepted or treated as a valid entry.

2.2 The prize will consist of a Winter Memories prize pack with an approximate retail value of $250 CAD. The Prize must be accepted as awarded. No cash alternatives, substitutions or transfers of the prize will be allowed.

2.2 Odds: The odds of being randomly selected to win the Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Odds of winning will decrease as the number of entries received increases.

2.3 Prize Draw: The Prize will be awarded by a random digital draw from all eligible Contest entries received during the applicable Contest Period. The draw will be held at 12:00 p.m. mountain time on December 22, 2018 at the offices of West Campus Development Trust located at Suite 110A, 3553 – 31st Street NW, Calgary Alberta T2L 2K7.

2.4 Notification of Selection: The participant whose name is drawn as a potential winner will be directly messaged on the applicable platform. If the selected participant cannot be contacted within [seven (7)] calendar days, another participant will be randomly selected and the initially selected participant will be disqualified and will have no recourse towards West Campus Development Trust, its affiliates or anyone directly or indirectly involved in the Contest.

In order to win, the selected winner must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical, skill-testing question to be administered on-site, and when collecting the prize he/she will be required to sign documentation confirming that he/she has complied with the Contest’s Rules, has accepted the Prize as awarded and releases West Campus Development Trust, its affiliates from any and all claims relating directly or indirectly to the Contest, the collection, use, distribution and storage of the winner’s personal information, the Contest and the acceptance, use or defect of the awarded prize. No substitution for, or transfer of the prize, will be allowed.

The selected winner will have up to [seven (7)] calendar days to pick up the prize and failure to do so within this period may disqualify the selected winner from claiming the prize and WCDT will have full and absolute discretion to select another Winner under such circumstances. The new winner will be randomly selected and the initially selected Winner will be disqualified and will have no recourse towards West Campus Development Trust, its affiliates or any other person involved in the Contest.

3. GENERAL RULES

3.1 By participating, all entrants acknowledge and agree that they have entered the Contest of their own free will, that the full rules and details of the Contest have been made available to them and they therefore understand and agree that neither West Campus Development Trust nor their sponsors or their respective employees have any liability with respect to the contestants’ participation in the Contest or winning a prize and are not liable for any damages out of acceptance and use of a prize.

By entering this promotion, participants agree to be bound by these rules.

3.2 West Campus Development Trust shall not be responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription or registration of Contest entry information, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible, or erased computer or network transmissions, line failures of any telephone network, failure of computer equipment, or software issues or any other error or malfunction, or any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from a winner not being notified of being a winner.

3.4 The Contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial and local laws.

 

 

ONSITE NORTHWESTIVAL DRAW RULES AND REGULATIONS (THE “RULES”)

1.1 Eligibility: Northwestival onsite draw (the “Contest”) is open to all residents of Canada except those residing in the province of Quebec, and excluding employees and Board Members of West Campus Development Trust and our sponsors, vendors and partners.

1.2 Participants do not need to be present to win. No purchase necessary. All participants must be over the age of 18.

1.3 Contest Period: On December 9, 2018 onsite contestants may participate in the Contest by entering into a draw onsite to be entered to win one (1) of three prizes (3).

1.4 Contest Entry: Upon completion of the entry submission eligible participants will gain one entry into the Contest for a chance to win one (1) of the prizes.

1.5 Contest Entry Restrictions: Participants are restricted to one (1) entry upon valid completion of the onsite ballot. Only one (1) entry per person. Any excess entries will be invalid and may prevent the participant from claiming a prize if such participant’s name is drawn as the winner.

3) Complimentary UCalgary Continuing Education course. Value of up to $500 CAD

4) A gift card to Market Mall retail value of $500 CAD.
